BFT in Blockchains: Efficient and Refined Designs

Byzantine fault tolerance (BFT) is now known as the core building block for permissioned blockchains and is increasingly used in permissionless blockchains. In this speech, we will review the recent progress in BFT protocols under different time models.

Xiao Sui is a second-year Ph.D. student at Shandong University (SDU), advised by Prof. Xiaoyun Wang. She obtained her Bachelor's degree at SDU. Her research interests include blockchain, consensus, and security. Xiao’s research has been published in the respected conference DSN.
