In the blockchain era, game theory has become an increasingly important approach to understanding and designing economic systems. This talk introduces various methodologies of game theory in the context of blockchain, including incentive design, equilibrium and dynamics analysis, and game-theoretic security. It was delivered by Hongyin Chen, as an episode of the Cryptape Vanguard 2020-2022 Blockchain Research Panorama Series.
Hongyin Chen is a third-year Ph.D. student at Peking University, advised by Prof. Xiaotie Deng. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from the first Turing Class in the EECS Department, Peking University. His research interests are blockchain, mechanism design and algorithmic game theory.
