ZK-SNARK Applications on Blockchains

SNARKs are a powerful tool for cryptocurrencies, as they can provide succinct and efficient proofs of complex computations. In this talk, we will examine how some cryptocurrencies use SNARKs for various applications, such as scaling, privacy, and interoperability.

Yuncong Zhang is a Ph.D. student at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China and also works as an intern researcher at Cryptape Co., Ltd. He holds a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and a Master's degree in computer science, both earned at SJTU. His research focuses on cryptography and blockchain, particularly zero-knowledge protocols such as zkSNARKs, as well as their applications in blockchain to enhance scalability and privacy. Yuncong's research has been published in respected academic conferences such as CCS and PKC.
